What Does L/Certified Actually Mean?

L/Certified is Lexus's own Certified Pre-Owned program, and it's not just a label slapped on any used car. To qualify, a vehicle must be no more than six model years old with fewer than 80,000 miles. From there, Lexus-trained technicians put it through a rigorous 161-point inspection covering the engine, exterior, interior, electronics, safety systems, undercarriage, and a full road test. They check everything down to the glovebox light and the spare tire. If a vehicle doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't make the cut.

What Does the L/Certified Warranty Cover?

With an L/Certified vehicle, you get a two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty that kicks in after the original four-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle warranty expires. That means up to six years of coverage with zero mileage cap and no deductible on covered repairs. The warranty also includes a complimentary loaner vehicle when your Lexus vehicle needs to stay at the dealership for more than eight hours for a covered repair.

Is Maintenance Included for L/Certified Vehicles?

Yes. Every L/Certified vehicle comes with complimentary factory-recommended maintenance for two years or 20,000 miles, whichever arrives first. Service intervals include Lexus oil changes, multi-point inspections, tire rotations, and road tests. That covers your scheduled upkeep so your Lexus vehicle keeps performing exactly the way it should.

What About Roadside Assistance?

You're covered around the clock. L/Certified vehicles include 24/7 roadside assistance for two years with unlimited mileage. The program also includes trip interruption coverage, reimbursing you for lodging for three nights, meals, and a rental car if your vehicle needs repair while you're traveling.
