The Redesigned 2024 Lexus GX: Push the Limits of Luxury and Performance

Performance

The 2024 Lexus GX comes in six trims at our Van Nuys Lexus dealership, all powered by a new 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system, this powertrain is capable of 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This is a sizeable increase from the previous generation's engine, which topped out at 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, the 2024 Lexus GX model's powertrain offers a robust towing capacity of 8,000 pounds.

Exterior Design

Part of the 2024 Lexus GX model's redesign includes an all-new exterior look headlined by a beautiful front fascia and the brand's iconic spindle body concept. Also, for the first time, the 2024 Lexus GX incorporates a standard power rear liftgate with a lift-out window. At its core, this well-built midsize model is still a true body-on-frame SUV, and its formidable stance, squared-off body lines, and increased ground clearance will still be readily noticeable to Keyes Lexus customers. 

Technology

This new Lexus SUV comes loaded with next-gen technology. On the infotainment side, a standard 14-inch touchscreen with the Lexus Interface provides access to great features such as wireless Apple CarPlay® and a Mark Levinson® surround sound system. The advanced 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor is also available, indispensable during off-road excursions. Safety-wise, every 2024 Lexus GX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, a suite of driver assistance features that includes lane-departure alert and pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection.

All-New Trims

The first-ever 2024 Lexus GX Overtrail and 2024 Lexus GX Overtrail+ trims are the most rugged Lexus GX models ever designed. Collectively, they offer a host of off-road-oriented upgrades for maximum comfort and capability. These upgrades range from max-comfort front seats with unique Ultrasuede®-trimmed accents to 33-inch all-terrain tires. Also included are an aluminum skid plate and black-accented overfenders.
