2016 Lexus ES 350
Long Wheel Base
A long wheelbase offers a striking stance, generous cabin space and additional legroom to rear-seat passengers.
Opposite-wound front coil springs help straight-line control, while rear-suspension geometry helps provide agility and overall control.
High-tensile steel and lightweight aluminum components are paired with bracing and optimized weld points for rigidity and precise handling.
Low drag. High response
While the sleek lines of the ES may appear to be shaped by the wind, it's actually the other way around. The brilliant design of the ES contributes to a remarkably low coefficient of drag, optimized fuel efficiency and reduced noise and vibration. Combined with structural design enhancements, the result is a ride that's as smooth as it is engaging.
The sculpted lines of its long, wide stance and sleek profile combine to form a singular presence on the road. The bold styling of its spindle grille, LED daytime running lights and available 18-inch wheels* beg for a second look.
COMFORT & DESIGN
Panorama Glass Roof*
The panorama glass roof provides a broad swath of light to rear-seat passengers. Its unique outer-sliding design provides a larger opening and more interior headroom than a conventional moonroof. Optional on the ES 350.
Class-Leading Rear Leg Room
You don't have to sit in the driver's seat to appreciate the interior design of the 2016 ES. Making the most of the additional space provided by an extended platform, the rear seat offers generous headroom and legroom reminiscent of a chauffeured sedan. Standard on ES350 and ES300h
Lane Departure Alert
Available Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist uses a camera to monitor visible lane markings. If you begin to drift from your lane, the system is designed to warn you so that you can steer back into the lane, and can also take corrective measures to help actively steer the vehicle back into the lane. Optional on ES350 and ES300h.
The front-passenger seat is designed to detect whether the seat is occupied by an adult, a child or is vacant. In case the system detects a child or empty passenger seat, the system prevents the passenger's front, side and knee airbags from being deployed. The front passenger's airbag features two chambers, creating an indentation in the center impact area that helps to provide occupant protection in a severe frontal collision.
